On behalf of President Paul Jones, the 2019 Founders Day Committee, and the Faculty and Staff of Fort Valley State University, I am delighted to invite you and your families to join us for the 79th Annual Founders Day Convocation. The event will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., in the Pettigrew Center Auditorium. This historic occasion commemorates our humble beginnings and proud traditions and pays tribute to the visionary Founders whose diligence and commitment gave birth to Fort Valley State University. Mr. Casey Bethel, a 2000 FVSU graduate and the 2017 State of Georgia "Teacher of the Year", will deliver the Founders Day address. This year’s Founders Day Convocation also begins our celebration of our 125th year of existence. We look forward to seeing you on November 7th.
